Test Applications

Although the Yelo range includes some very powerful labour saving programming tools, many companies prefer to purchase a turnkey package, especially for their first system. Mindready (NI) have a team of experienced engineers to provide a full package of Yelo system, fixture, application program, on site commissioning and training. We have provided test applications all over the world.

Our experience is extensive and we have the advantage of being able to quickly design custom add-ons for Yelo systems to provide exact solutions. In house we have rapid PCB etching and prototyping facilities, full mechanical and electrical CAD and CNC equipment.

So we can take on anything from software, through electronic design to complex fixturing.

As examples, we have provided test applications which have included:

Automatic testing of four different shapes of telephone on a single, automatically reconfiguring fixture

Mechanical testing of gearboxes in franking machines

Functional testing of an electronic module used on a major production car

System testing of completed stair lift systems. PCB level testing of heating controllers including the application of mains

Automatic testing of fire alarms including using a camera to visually check 88 LEDs

We can provide training, either on your site or in our dedicated training facility at Mindready (NI). Training can be on all aspects of your system including software, hardware and even advanced system design - so that you can design your own test hardware and functions for Yelo systems.

We now have a new Maintenance Support System by which our customers can choose from four packages: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
